Airborn Studios is looking for a Working Student – IT Support Assistant (f/m/d) to join our team! The position is up to 20h/week, flexible around your lecture schedule and exam periods.

Airborn Studios is a Berlin-based company focused on the development and production of Game Art. Its founders have been working in the entertainment industry for over 20 years and tap into a network of international artists.
Airborn has contributed to projects such as Blizzard’s Overwatch, Epic Games’ Fortnite, Activision’s Crash Bandicoot 4, Riot Games’ Valorant, Microsoft’s Halo franchise. The team is responsible for the visual design of Ori and the Blind Forest, for which it has received a BAFTA award, a D.I.C.E. Award, and a Game Developers Choice Award, among others.

About this role
Join an established creative game art studio in the heart of Berlin and support the growth of a modern, cloud-based IT infrastructure that powers both our on-site and remote teams.
As a Working Student – IT Support Assistant (f/m/d), you’ll gain hands-on experience while helping us keep our systems secure, reliable, and scalable. You will work closely with our Senior System Administrator to continuously improve our cloud and workplace setup, balancing your studies with real-world impact.
Your Key Responsibilities
Frontline Support & Level 1 Troubleshooting
- First-Line Support: Manage incoming service desk tickets with quick, friendly communication.
- Identity & Access Management: Resolve MFA, password resets, and SSO issues.
- Connectivity & Remote Support: Diagnose network issues (e.g., VPN, WiFi) and support remote/hybrid workspaces.
- On-Site & Hardware Support: Assist with meeting room tech and isolate basic hardware faults.
- Escalation Management: Identify systemic issues and escalate complex cases.
IT Lifecycle & Asset Management
- Device Management: Image, configure, and securely wipe employee laptops and desktops.
- Asset Tracking: Handle physical labeling, inventory tracking, and hardware organization.
- IT Logistics: Manage ordering, unboxing, packaging, and shipping to remote employees.
- License Audits: Verify and audit software licenses directly with end-users.
Security, Compliance & Projects
- Endpoint Compliance: Monitor antivirus status, push OS patches, and identify security risks.
- Threat Monitoring: Spot phishing attempts and escalate security alerts.
- Project Support: Assist with the ongoing rollout and configuration of Microsoft Intune.
- Documentation: Write and maintain internal technical guides and user-facing FAQs.


Your Qualifications & Skills
- Communication: good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical jargon into clear, patient instructions for end-users.
- Customer Focus: Highly proactive approach to user support, ensuring consistent follow-up until issues are fully resolved.
- Technical Foundation: Solid basic knowledge of Windows 11, Google Workspace, and device management concepts.
- Identity & Cloud Management: A basic understanding of cloud identity or account management is a plus. Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and/or Microsoft Intune is highly valued.
- Command Line Utility: Basic familiarity with command-line interfaces (e.g., CMD and/or PowerShell) for simple troubleshooting.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
