Overwatch

A team-based multiplayer shooter that – as is Blizzard tradition – would become a tent pole of its genre. And we’ve been involved for quite a while now.

A continuous Collaboration

Airborn Studios was asked to join the Overwatch character pipeline in 2014 to produce 3D assets – and we’ve been at it ever since! Our team has contributed 250+ character and weapons assets for the base game and the regular post-release content updates.

Over the course of time, we have refined our workflows and also internally developed tools to support the asset creation process. It is a long-term collaboration we’re grateful for, and we’re looking forward to what’s to come!

So, what’s ahead?

Airborn Studios has transitioned to working on Overwatch 2 – going way beyond the scope of our previous engagement as we’re also doing level concept and 3D work now! More on that to follow at some point down the road.
