Projects requiring a deeper involvement can count on our Leads and Art Directors to provide guidance to other artists in or outside of your studio.

Our character team has contributed to games like Overwatch, Overwatch 2, Fortnite, Valorant, Crash Bandicoot 4, Spyro: Reignited Trilogy, and Brawl Stars to name a few. Whether it’s a dashing heroine or hero or a terrifying boss monster – we’ll be more than happy to tackle the challenge.

Our prop and environment specialists take care of everything from weapons to vehicles, buildings, vegetation, and whatever else is needed to make a level sparkle. It’s not only about individual assets though: our level artists can build and dress full environments and deliver them in Unreal Engine, Unity, or other engines – as we did on Spyro: Reignited Trilogy or Crash Bandicoot 4.

Due to the skill set outlined above, we also set up and provide integrated teams that can cover both, concept art and 3D art combined. Any such production benefits from the established shared understanding among our internal artists and, ultimately, results in an even better output and a lower number of potential feedback loops. Examples of this unified approach are Spyro: Reignited Trilogy, Ori and the Blind Forest, Crash Bandicoot 4, and Brawl Stars among others.

We’re also doing an increasing amount of general pipeline development, creating our own tools for the data flow between different applications, quality control of asset specifications, and automation of repetitive and cumbersome work steps wherever possible.

Developing and defining a visual language for a project is one of the central purposes of pre-production – and it’s one our team is more than eager to help out with. On top of developing a style and documenting its core pillars via art bibles and key artworks, this type of work can also include world-building, lore creation, and even ideation of specific set pieces or gameplay interactions. It’s part of the process to consider the purpose of the elements of an environment or character design, e.g. what kind of vegetation a given setting might entail and what the creatures and people living there would look like, or why some characters may have a scar or other marks.

On the 3D side of things, our team is ready to tackle R&D work to explore how a given idea or concept can be translated into 3D, thus developing, defining, and documenting the specs, workflows, and tool pipeline for the production phase to achieve the desired results and providing guidance where necessary.
